Milford or Doubtful?

Most visitors have heard of Milford Sound. Fewer know that Doubtful Sound, a little further south, is around three times as long, far quieter, and reached by boat and mountain pass rather than by road. Many of our guests do both fiords in one trip.

Twelve guests, three crew and a night at anchor is a different kind of visit from a day cruise. Here is how the two fiords compare, and how to fit both into an itinerary.
